WaterSums is not free software.
If you do not agree with the terms of this licence, the owner of WaterSums software is not willing to license the software to you and you have no right to use the software.
The owner of WaterSums software offers a limited licence for the software, with the following conditions.
The software is licensed, not sold. Any rights not explicitly granted under this Agreement are reserved.
The software is provided on an ‘as is’ basis. All warranties, either expressed or implied, are disclaimed as to the software and its quality, performance or fitness for any particular purpose. You, the user, bear the entire risk relating to the use, quality and performance of the software. In no case will the providers of WaterSums software be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any defect in the software. If the software proves to have defects, you, and not the owner of WaterSums software, assume the cost of any necessary service or repair.
The software is available for free use for a trial period of 30 days. Once the trial period is over, you must purchase a licence or stop using the software.
Software maintenance can optionally be purchased with a new licence and subsequently paid on an annual basis to gain access to all major, minor and bug fix upgrades released during the maintenance period. If the software maintenance fee is not paid, updates and bug fixes within the same minor version are only available from the WaterSums website for a period of 4 months from the initial purchase of a new licence.
WaterSums Software is licensed perpetually to customers exclusively for their own use.
Software licensed to an individual can be used by that individual on any number of computers.
Software licensed to any other legal entity can by used by any individuals representing that entity but only up to the number of concurrent users licensed.
You may make as many backup copies of the software as you believe necessary.
You may not distribute the software without permission from WaterSums.
You may not decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the software for the purposes of producing competing software or to work around any technical limitations in the software.
Restricted Rights Legend: This software is commercial computer software developed exclusively at private expense. Use, duplication, and disclosure by civilian agencies of the U.S. Government shall be in accordance with FAR 52.227-19 (c) or other agency data rights provisions, as may be applicable. Use, duplication and disclosure by DOD agencies is subject solely to the terms of standard software License Agreement as stated in DFARS 227.7202. “Unpublished-All rights reserved under the Copyright Laws of the United States”.
